I came to the food writing world after nearly ten years on the line of professional kitchens, including the early years of NYC's Union Square Cafe. In addition to restaurant work, I have catered events and taught cooking classes. I am currently food editor for Florida Table, a regional food magazine in southeast Florida. I also served as “Dining Expert” for VISITFLORIDA.com, blogging, writing and hosting videos about food finds in Florida. I test and develop recipes and round out my writing with travel and wine stories. Or, as I like to say, I suffer for my craft.
